The beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of Virginia's wine country, and Historic downtown Culpeper are an ideal setting for Culpeper's first bed and breakfast - Fountain Hall. The B&B boasts ten-foot ceilings, a sweeping walnut staircase, three large common rooms and six tastefully appointed guest rooms. Each of the guest rooms has a private bath, air conditioning and fresh air windows. Some rooms offer private porches with views, whirlpool tub, or two-room suites. The grounds are meticulously maintained with seasonal flower gardens, mature trees, plush green lawn and brick herringbone walkways.

Enjoy breakfast at a leisurely pace in our sunny morning room. Awaken to the aroma of freshly baked croissants (with excellent reviews by visitors from France and Belgium), and fresh brewed coffee. A variety of teas along with luscious fruits and berries, preserves, yogurt and granola, juice, and hot and cold cereals, make a great start to your day.

You can easily reach Yowell Meadow Park, located in town, by taking an stroll from the B&B along quaint streets lined with historic homes and unique shops. Or you can drive a few miles to Mountain Run Lake Park, where you can enjoy the serene lake and great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Civil War enthusiasts will enjoy a Saturday morning historic walking tour or a pre-planned bus tour coordinated by the Museum of Culpeper History. Seven (7) days advanced notice for full refund. Cancellation received within 7 days will result in forfeiture of deposit if room cannot be re-rented for entire length of stay. Whole house and multi-room/multi-night reservations are assessed on a case by case basis.
