History and natural beauty abound in this quaint community. Urbanna, a town of 800 persons, is renowned for its Oyster Festival, historic homes, small upscale shops and waterfront vistas. A variety of restaurants are within easy walking distance. The town is bounded on the north by the Rappahannock river.

The Chesapeake Bay is easily accessible by power or sail. Public and private boat slips are just steps away. Canoeing, kayaking, charter fishing, day sailing, or just sight seeing by water, or air by small polited plane are the best way to see the area-  all easily arrainged through The Inn.
