Marl Inn, located a half block from the restored Village of Yorktown, and 2 blocks from Yorktown's Riverwalk/beach area along the York River.

All rooms have private bath, TV and VCR with a movie library. Sitting areas and privacy are available for your relaxation enjoyment.

While staying with us there is much to do for all ages - travel by bike, foot or car through the battlefields where history was made - ride the free Yorktown Trolley during summer  months - picnic along the beautiful York River - watch a Fife & Drum parade - enjoy dining aboard a dinner cruise - visit the Yorktown Victory Monument - relax on the beach or go swimming - visit the Colonial National Historical Park Visitor's Center and the Yorktown Victory Center - shop in quaint shops along Main Street - tour historic homes - visit the Waterman's Museum - look for the cannon ball embedded in the Thomas Nelson House - walk, stroll or bike along many paths including Yorktown's beach.

This picket fenced Bed and Breakfast, is on a half acre lot that was originally surveyed in 1691. Yorktown is the Continental army along with the French forces won the last major battle of the American Revolution.

Cyclists are encouraged to tour the battlefields and campgrounds of the Revolutionary Armies. The ten miles of single-lane paved roads through the Park Service forests are exceptionally inviting to historians and tourists.

The beautiful Colonial Parkway linking Yorktown with Williamsburg and Jamestown is a particularly attractive route for bicyclists and touring families.

Busch Gardens is only 12 minutes from Yorktown.Newport News/ Williamsburg International Airport, is only 12 miles from Yorktown. Norfolk and Richmond airports are an hour away via I-64. Three universities including William & Mary, Christopher Newport and Thomas Nelson Community College are 30 minutes away. Virginia Beach is a l hour drive.

Only a half block from Main Street, the inn is within easy walking distance of fine restaurants, antique shops, several museums, and the beach.

It is short walk to the Colonial National Historical Park Visitor Center, next to the location of the last major battle of the American Revolutionary War.

The inn offers three suites with private baths. These have separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room areas and private bath. One suite can be linked to a second bedroom with private bathroom for added savings for couples and children.

The Garden View Suite, features a jet tub. All rooms have outside private entrances. Suites are set up for extended stays, with full cooking facilities. Each suite will accommodate 2 adults comfortably.  Children may also be accommodated in suites by use of extra inflatable beds provided. The Thomas Nelson, Jr. Suite can be converted to a two bedroom suite with Lucy's Hideaway added.  This second bedroom has it's own bathroom.

Rate of our rooms vary from $129 to $169 per night (excluding taxes), depending on room selected.  This rate may include a full breakfast served in our dining room or in your room.  We also offer a value package rate in order to accommodate our guests  needs for a more flexible schedule.  This rate varies from $109 to $149 per night (excluding taxes) and includes the following:  Room stocked with coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal and a loaf of homemade bread.  All rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.  Suites have a full kitchen and can easily accommodate lengthy stays.

There is a two week cancellation policy in order to receive a full refund. In cases of late cancellation, a gift certificate will be issued for the full amount of the visit and may be re-booked at any time within one year.
