Montclair B&B-historic restoration award winning townhouse in Staunton,Virginia -in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the town chosen by the National Trust as one of America's "Dozen Distinct Destinations" and winner of the Great American Main Street Award, the birthplace of President Woodrow Wilson,and home to the American Shakepeare theater's Blackfriars Playhouse. An inn where comfort is foremost, gourmet breakfasts are a specialty, and Southern hospitality is served up in generous portions.

The inn is filled with antiques and family heirlooms,the decor is Foxes and Hounds, from the front hall where a fox attired in riding clothes perches atop the hall tree to the dining room where china depicts scenes from the hunt. Guests can relax or join other guests in the parlor- for a traditional English tea or in the library for wine and cheese. Comfortable conversation areas are also found in the garden, the front porch and the patio. Guests are pampered by Sheri's collection of antique bed, bath and table linens and leave the breakfast table knowing exactly why Mark is called "Griddle Guy."

From Montclair,all of the wonderful sites of town are within walking distance,the Birthplace and museum, antiques and gift shops,the Blackfriar's theater,art galleries, the park and gazebo, the library, the courthouse, the train station and concourse, the FREE guided walking tour offered by Historic Staunton Foundation, a trolley ride and delightful dining at more than a dozen unique restaurants, coffee shops, bistros or delis.
