Come stay with us and add to the many memories already made at this 1920's stone and stucco lodge. Originally built as a day resort we have modernized to pamper you while retaining the original charm that has captivated so many in the past 80 years. Centrally located in the Shenandoah Valley, yet hidden away on a country road nestled up on the western base of Massanutten Peak in Rockingham County. Imagine sitting on our massive front porch with a gourmet breakfast watching the deer grazing on the open front lawn in the summer. Or what could be cozier on a cold, snowy winter evening than to soak in one of our whirlpool baths and watch your favorite movie or listen to a soothing CD of your choice with the flame from a fireplace or charming stove in the background.

Start the day with a satisfying breakfast both nutritious and well prepared for either for the light or hearty eater. Remember "we're here to pamper you" and our breakfasts are meant to start each day in a special way. Then just relax and enjoy yourself here for the day and maybe go horseback riding right next door. Or we can direct you to some of the favorite historic locations and beautiful sights the Shenandoah Valley is famous for.

Maybe you'll be right on time for one of the house concerts we host for the Folk Arts Revival Society featuring local and well known talent. Warm fluffy robes and dually adjustable beds await you after the day's activities along with a specially prepared snack and hot or cold drinks. A refrigerator for guest use is stocked with cold drinks. Whether you want romance or a casual social time, come find us, ready and waiting for you at the end of our country road but just a couple miles from a plethora of shopping and restaurants.
