WELCOME To Historic Abingdon And Our Home- We are the only B&B in Abingdon that can offer a king bed,in-room working fireplace, oversized whirlpool tub and separate walk-in tiled shower.
The Inn is located in the Historic District of Abingdon. Area Historic District Attractions are: Barter Theatre,Martha Washington, Virginia Creeper Trail,and Arts Centers & Galleries.
The Inn has five guest rooms all elegantly appointed and offer our guests quiet reverie and relaxing getaways in true luxurious comfort.
In the morning, you will awaken to a home-cooked breakfast -- a cuisine of homemade and fresh foods served on antique bone china with crystal goblets and sterling silver flatware. Always served in front of the main fireplace, candle light illuminates the hand-painted wall murals in our formal dining room. Freshly ground coffee, a large selection of fine teas, seasonal fruits, and juices accompany the hot entree.
Guests enjoy complimentary wine in the Outdoor Room complete with antique wicker furniture and paddle fans overlooking a koi pond and tranquil waterfall.They stroll through the brick-paved courtyard to the Gazebo and enjoy the various garden rooms. A garden train completes the lush look, as it winds through the plants and antique statues along the path.
Abingdon is proud of its history and rich heritage. When you stroll the shaded brick sidewalks, you feel you've stepped back in time. Saunter along the scenic Virginia Creeper Trail or take in the arts at one of our fine galleries. Meander through antique shops or upscale boutiques, you will be surprised that our small town can offer such a variety of attractions, yet maintain historic warmth and charm.

"How to say, I do without much ado." We are located four blocks from the Clerk of the Court where you may obtain a Virginia marriage license and be married immediately! The innkeeper is a Commonwealth appointed Marriage Officient and performs private marriage ceremonies by reservation any time of the year. There is a $35 cancellation fee for booked rooms. We have a ten-day cancellation policy: Reservations cancelled within ten days of your visit are subject to a charge for the entire stay. If room is rebooked, charge is refunded less $35 cancellation fee. Most weekends require a two-night minimum stay.
