Pat and Mike have created a unique Bed and Breakfast in the charming historic Fan District neighborhood, located "in the middle of it all" in Richmond, Virginia.
  
William Miller, proprietor of Rogers & Miller Marbleworks, built our Greek-Revival style home in 1869 on land purchased during the Civil War in 1862. Much of the output of Rogers & Miller Marbleworks can be found in nearby Hollywood Cemetery, resting place of two US Presidents, James Monroe and John Tyler, as well as the only Confederate States President, Jefferson Davis. The Inn boasts three marble mantels from William Miller, including the elegant original one in the parlor.
  
  The William Miller House> has been totally renovated to maintain the charm of original architectural details: the period window glass, heart pine floors, and those marble mantles, while adding modern necessities such as central air conditioning, updated electrical and plumbing, and wireless internet.
  
  The Inn also features many places to relax: the delightful main floor parlor with fireplace, the garden room with its evening wine service, the porch with its rockers, the stone patio area with its lovely fish pond, and the dining room with its crystal chandelier. Tastefully furnished with both antique and modern pieces in classic styles, the William Miller House is the epitome of hospitality, warmth, and comfort.
  
  The William Miller Bed and Breakfast has been granted a Green Lodging Certification by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality for their commitment to energy conservation, water conservation, recycling, and other green initiatives.

The William Miller House is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than fourteen (14) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.  A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

Check-in: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.  If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM.

The William Miller House is a smoke free property; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

No Pets. Please make arrangements to board your pet before arrival.
