“A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it’s better to be thoroughly sure.” –Czech Proverb
“Virginia will be serving up love on tap for the first-ever Virginia Craft Beer Month this August. For beer lovers this means August is a great time to visit Virginia for true local flavor at more than 40 craft breweries and restaurants and bars who have local love on tap” (Virginia is for Lovers).
Virginia may be more well-known for its wine than its beer, but this is a month to celebrate the excellent local breweries. The celebration eventually leads up to the first annual Virginia Craft Brewers Fest: “Presented by the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild and the Virginia Manufacturers Association, the 2012 Virginia Craft Brewers Festival is designed to bring together all qualified and interested Virginia Craft Breweries as an opportunity to promote the Virginia Craft Brewing Industry and the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild.”
Enjoy the Virginia Craft Beer Cup competition, beer tastings, band performances, delicious food, and mountainous views.
