Welcome to our home! While relaxing in gracious Victorian comfort, you will experience individualized hospitality with a warmth that comes from our hearts.

Our home is located in the historic district of Waynesboro, a small town in the Shenandoah Valley and just three miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive entrances. Recreational opportunities abound in the area as well as art centers, antique shops, and museums.

With its gabled roof, wraparound porch (with swing), hearth pine floors, pocket doors and seven working fireplaces, the Belle Hearth depicts the fine craftmanship of the late Victorian/Neo Classical period.

We offer three guest rooms and one suite, all with private baths, antique furnishings, and three with gas log fireplaces. The Rose Room (pictured here) has a queen-sized mahogany bed, built in the late 1700's with tulip petal posts. The Magnolia Suite (pictured here) has a bedroom, bathroom (with separate tub and shower) and a sitting room. Its walnut bed is an excellent example of Victorian Renaissance Revival design. The Orchid Room has a king size cherry poster bed and a magnificent marbleized slate fireplace mantle and surround. The large private bath has an old-fashioned claw foot tub. The Iris Room is intimately decorated with family heirlooms that complement the graceful fireplace and has a queen bed.

At breakfast you will discover the dining table set with silver and old china--the perfect backdrop for old-fashioned country fare. There's always fresh fruit in season, homemade biscuits or hot breads, along with eggs, quiche, french toast and breakfast meats.

In the summer, enjoy our large pool and in the winter enjoy our fireplaces. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or a place to just relax, you will find it at the Belle Hearth.
