The Huffman House at Creekside Farm, a restored 1835 farm house, on the State Historic Register and the National Register of Historic Places, is nestled between Sinking Creek and Little Creek on Scenic by-way, Rte 42 in Newport, VA, only minutes from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Tour the farm with Ron and meet all the animals (sheep, cows, pigs, Haflinger horses, llamas, turkeys, ducks, geese, chickens, roosters, donkeys and dogs). Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of homemade bread, muffins, scones, granola, jams and hearty hot entrees like Huffman House Baked French Toast, Feta Basil Egg Bake, Bacon Quiche Tarts, Sinking Creek Blueberry Pancakes plus many more delights! Must be made two weeks prior to your reservation date for a full refund.  If you cancel within two weeks of your reservation, we will refund your money less a $25 processing fee.  EXCEPTIONS: Special weekends (Tech Graduation, Tech Football) - On these weekends you must cancel one month in advance for a full refund. No refunds will be given after this date.  NOTE: Departures prior to your check-out date will not result in a refund. We will issue you a voucher for that night’s stay, for you to use at a later date.
