The Inn at Meander Plantation is a smoke-free environment. Children are welcome. Check-in begins at 3 p.m..; notification of arrival after 6 p.m. is appreciated. Check-out is 11 a.m.. Reservations are recommended. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards are accepted.
The Inn at Meander Plantation sits majestically on 80 acres of rolling pastures and woods - far from the bustle of the big city, yet easy to find on historic James Madison Highway in Madison County. Nestled in a bend of the scenic Robinson River, The Inn is located on U.S. Route 15, 9 miles south of Culpeper and 6 miles north of Orange. Charlottesville is 35 miles to the south, Washington, DC is 70 miles to the northeast, just over an hour�¯�¿�½s drive to Dulles or National Airports and Richmond is 70 miles to the southeast.
1 Dozen Roses, a bottle of chilled Champagne, fine Chocolates and a Cheese and Fruit Tray waiting in your "Virginia Wine Country" guestroom when you arrive will make her eyes light up. A must have for a truly romantic weekend. 24 hours notice is required.

One Dozen Roses waiting in your romantic "Virginia Wine Country" guestroom, in a vase for you to take home. A beautiful, fragrant addition to your room. 24 hours notice is required for the florist to prepare your flowers.
Cheese & Fruit Tray - $30.00
A silver tray piled high with various fine cheeses, crackers and fruit. A welcoming and relaxing treat for the road weary. At least 2 hours notice is required for the chef to prepare your tray to be delivered to your Virginia wine country guestroom.
Horseback Riding - $40.00*
Horseback Riding is available at a local farm just minutes from your Virginia wine country guestroom. At least 24 hours notice is required. *price per person, payable to provider
Pets Welcome Package - $450.00
Our Pets Welcome Package, available Sunday through Wednesday, includes: *Two nights lodging in one of our elegant pet-friendly guest rooms *Pets stay free; normal pet fee waived *Yummy Meander-made dog treats on arrival *Gourmet 3-course Dinner Basket for humans, one of the nights of your stay *Full breakfast each morning, with seating on the back porch so your puppy can join you. *Gourmet picnic for the humans, with a little something for the puppy, for the day of your choice $ 450, plus taxes Or choose to inquire with owners for alternate date options and additional dinner options.
Massage - $95.00
Relaxing, revitalizing massage is available to all guests with at least 24 hours notice. Our professional massage therapist will set up in your Virginia wine country guestroom for a one hour massage.
Picnic Lunch - $30.00
Out for a day of exploring the area? Let us pack you a gourmet picnic lunch to take along. Suitable for 2. Notice needed the day prior, please. And add a bottle of wine from our exclusively Virginia wine list to make the meal complete.
Elopement Special - $750.00
Our elopement package is designed to make your elopement a very special wedding day just for the two of you. When arriving to the Inn you will choose from the many possible sites for your ceremony and check into your elegant accommodation. We'll take care of everything else. Guided Wine Tour - $300.00
Enjoy a worry-free day of tasting at some of Virginia's finest wineries and leave the driving to a wine-knowledgeable professional. Let us book you a guided tour with Vino Vans, a locally-owned winery touring company. Special rates offered for groups. Available daily with 48 hours notice. Celebrating a birthday, anniversary or any special occasion? We'll get the party started for you, with celebration essentials waiting in your room when you arrive. The package, added to the price of any room you choose to book, includes: *Festive balloon bouquet *Fresh flower arrangement in take-home vase *A bottle of our house Virginia wine (Choose from Blush, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon; sparkling wine also available) *Cheese and fruit tray *Decorated 8-inch celebration cake $175, plus tax. As we commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, we offer 3 incredible learning packages, giving insights of those turbulent times. Choose from two 3-night packages, or combine the two for a 5-night Emersion Tour, focusing on pivotal Civil War activities in our Central Virginia area. Includes: Accommodations, guided tours and transportation with our internationally acclaimed Civil War Authorities, Fruit and Cheese, gourmet breakfast, picnic lunches, and dinner two nights. *Please see inn website for further details.
Virginia Wine and Dine Experience - $450.00
Package Includes: *Two Night stay at either the Inn at Meander Plantation or the Mayhurst Inn. *Full Plantation Style Breakfast each Morning *Five Course Dinner at the Inn at Meander Plantation (selected Virginia wine pairings with Dinner available) *Bottle of Fine Virginia Wine in your room on Arrival *Tasting Certificates to six Local Wineries *Please contact the Innkeeper directly for more detailed information, and restrictions.
The Inn at Meander Plantation requires 50% deposit which is fully refundable with 14 days notice of cancellation minus $25 fee. Cooking School and Wine Academy Packages, holidays and Graduation weekends require 30 days notice of cancellation.
