Getting to off-site points of interest is an enjoyment of its own: Most roads that meander through adjacent hills provide nearly a "view-at-every-turn" ride to wonderfully unique Floyd, VA (see Floyd Tourism Directory LOGO, to the left, this page). Floyd is one of the purest examples of authentic mountain music character (Floyd Fest, Wine Down, General Store Friday Night Jamboree, Pickin' Porch) and is a must-visit on your itinerary. Minutes from the inn, Floyd epitomizes a little of "today"; lots of "yesterday"; all uniquely blended into genuine, Blue Ridge Mountain life and character.The New River Valley, home of the nationally famous "Hokies" of VA Tech, and Radford University, all lie within a 30 minute scenic drive.

Interstate 81 and Interstate 77 both also lie within 30 minutes of the inn, providing "Maine / Florida" travelers an ideal, midway repose.

Close by Mountain Song Inn are three noted wineries, fine and unique dining experiences, specialty and antique shops, historic sights, flea markets, hiking, mountain lakes, State Parks, plenty of Blue Grass music,  and scenic pasture lands.

Cancellations permitted 7 days prior to date of stay. NO-SHOWS WILL BE BOOKED AT FULL AMOUNT.
Special event weekends (like Floyd Fest and Virginia Tech Graduation) require a 30 day notice. All fees
refunded if we are able to rebook.
