Our home is one of the three "grand old ladies" that were built across from the beach facing directly west into the sunset. Built in 1927 for a wealthy Cape Charles merchant, we have made extensive renovations to restore its grand character and create one of the most comfortable and relaxing two-room bed & breakfasts on the Virginia eastern shore. Its large rooms, 10 foot ceilings, unique views of the Bay and fabulous sunsets offer our guests an unsurpassed Cape Charles experience on the Chesapeake Bay.

Our gourmet breakfasts are served on the patio in the morning sunshine and just across the road from the most beautiful Bay-front beach on Virginias eastern shore.

The Chesapeake Bay View Bed & Breakfast has central air conditioning, Wi-Fi and two very comfortable and relaxing guest rooms with flat screen HD-TV screens with 200+ Direct TV channels of enjoyment.

We are a small Inn and guarantee to hold your room unless you tell us otherwise at least 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. In case of emergency and you have to cancel within the 10 days, we will try our best to rebook your room. Unfortunately, you will be charged the cost of your room if it stays empty for part or the full length of your reservation. Sorry, no exceptions. A processing fee of $30 applies to all cancellations and changes.
We understand that plans can change, and we will gladly refund your deposit less a $30 cancellation fee for timely cancellations and date changes.
