The Schooler House B&B

The Schooler House retains its original heart pine floors in the original rooms of the house.  Replaced flooring was done in re-milled 100+-year-old heart pine.  There are 4 fireplaces in The Schooler House, all restored with antique tiles. Two fireplaces are located in the common areas of The Schooler House and each room has its own gas log fireplace. Most of the trim throughout The Schooler House is original to the home.

A full breakfast is served in the dining room, which is furnished in period furniture. The large front porch, furnished with antique wicker furniture, provides a perfect view of the Rising Sun Tavern, where you'll see the wenches greeting tourists, the trolley or horse drawn carriage as it passes by on its way through the city.

The Schooler House takes MasterCard, Visa, check, or cash. Deposits (one night stay) are required to hold reservations. Credit card information will be held as deposit and run upon arrival. A full refund is gladly refunded up to 10 days prior to arrival minus a $25 cancellation fee. However, if a cancellation is made fewer than 10 days prior to your arrival date, or if you are a "no show," I will make every attempt to book your room.  If I am unable to do so, you will be responsible for the entire amount of the reservation, as the room was held specifically for you.  Early departures will be charged the full amount of the room reservation.
