Basil Sorbet
Recipe Submitted by the L'Auberge Provencale Bed and Breakfast Inn

12 oz Sugar
2 oz Glucose Syrup
2 lb. Water
2 oz Fresh Basil

~Bring Sugar, Glucose and Water to a boil
~Remove from heat
~Add Basil and steep for 5 Minutes
~Strain and Chill
~Spin in Ice Cream Machine until proper consistency is achieved
~Remove from Ice Cream Machine and store in air tight container in freezer for up to two weeks
